Detailed description of Legacy Golf & Tennis Club | Legacy Championship Golf Course
Legacy Golf & Tennis Club, is a Private, 36 hole golf facility located in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Legacy has two 18-hole golf courses, they are The Legacy Championship Course and The Legacy Yellow Course, a short par-3 course.
The Legacy Championship Course first opened for play in 1990. The course was designed by George and Jim Fazio.
This very scenic course is located in wetlands and water is the main obstacle in the design. A challenging hole is #2, a 525-yard, par 5, featuring a double dogleg fairway with water protecting the right side down the second half of the fairway. PGA tournaments have been held here.
